One marvelous thing about painting is that there is no end to the learning. Each fresh canvas is an opportunity to grow, to see more, and to share what I see in my mind's eye.
I have been drawing most of my life and started painting about 15 years ago. My biggest reward is when an image on canvas matches the one which I had planned. When it does come together, it is an incredible rush.
I love the patterns in nature: the shapes of shadows, fields laid out in patchwork rolling over the hills, the staggering power of the sky. I hope my paintings encourage others to revel in these wonders too.
It is also my hope that the images presented here will engage you, and that we will connect through something that is, after all, just paint on canvas.
